Jan. 20 update Please check the entries page fav.me/d4eqnhd and make sure your entries are listed. The deadline is in 11 days.
Jan. 10 update again We are now sanctioned by another group, the Dressage-League!
January 10th update Entries are due by the first week of February, you guys, and I've only received a couple of entries... Just reminding yall to be on the ball...
SECOND. I am ignoring any more notes about registration. Seriously, read the freaking journals people. I have stated that it has been CLOSED to new entrants since November of last year. Send more note and I might actually scream at you, depending on my day... If it's a good day, I'll ignore you and you'll be wondering what's up. If it's a bad day, I'm taking your heads. DO NOT SEND ME ANY MORE NOTES TRYING TO REGISTER.
December 26th Update: I keep getting straggler notes from folks asking to register. This event was originally scheduled to accept registries until the deadline for entries, BUT, because at this point I owe almost 100 pieces of work to current entrants, I have decided not to accept further registration (which was posted in journals sometime in November).
Those of you who missed this deadline for registering in this event may register for the Summer Olympics, which will be held between June and August of next year. Registration for that will open around May, and I will only have TEN SLOTS PER CLASS... This means no more than 20 D/SJ entrants, and 10 Eventing entrants (due to Eventing being a class, and D/SJ having two subclasses). Information and such will be posted at the beginning of May.
Please, if you wanted to enter this, but are viewing this journal now, be aware that you can't register anymore. I will ignore any more notes on this subject.
November 1st Update: Woohoooo! I knew if I gave it enough time, I could fix it New rule, I actually forgot to post it before:
No horse in the Polo games may exceed 15.2 hands in height. Period.
All registrations are up to date, please double check and make sure everything is listed correctly. (I'm reposting these in a separate journal! Nobody comment and say, "But I don't see them!" I will ignore you.
Also, I cannot update and make it so you can see this, so that sucks...
October 25th Update: Setting! I forgot to add in the exacts I want to see:
Accurate background= the setting must be inside the Georgia Dome. Silica sand on floors for Dressage and Show Jumping, XC will have sod laid down over the weekend before XC starts, so, nice green, real grass. Also, feel free to have banners from any of the prize donators/sponsors you found out about the show from strung up, as they've got free advertising for helping us out!
October 24th Update: Alright guys, another update. I've jotted down all current bonus points earned.
ER= Early Registration.
S= Sponsoring via Journal or Group Blog
PD= Prize donation
R= Recommendation
Remember, there are LOTS of things you can do for bonus points! Don't forget to try and rack 'em up, you can be ahead of the game before it even gets going! Each section has listed, under the Judging area, what all I'm offering Bonus Points for.

* Obviously I am not associated with the Summer Olympics in any way, as they will be held in London. Though my event is based on the real life event and is very similar, I make no money from this, I don't want to be sued, and I hope you all realize the difference between this and the real Olympics
Also, Arthur Blank owns the Dome. I've been there. AMAZING. Wish I owned it, and if I did you know I'd host a major all-discipline Equestrian event every year!

Commissioners... Anyone want some $$$?
All those pics I just posted of my dogs?
Anyone doing commissions? I want one specifically of my GSD, Tyr, as he passed away last Winter and I'm really feeling a pang today.
Please message me your work and prices via Note. Thank you.
http://fav.me/da9wez7 < That’s a full body
http://fav.me/da9wfdf < Another full body, he was a great dog. Would guard the girls while they played.
http://fav.me/da9wgk5 <You can see the shape of his head a bit better here, I think.
http://fav.me/da9wfw1 <This is the best picture I have of his face. He had a very broad head, and his eyes were well set and BIG. Very thoughtful eyes, soulfu
Just Things.
Update: I had to move.
My mom "won" hr divorce, if you can call people who used to love each other splitting up "winning." She gave up the house in exchange for financial security... We moved to another home in the same town, renting... I hate it. They want me to muzzle my pit because she's a pit. Nevermind that the husky down the road grabbed her by the face and started the Death Shake... Charlotte has bitten exactly 1 dog, and that dog was barking and growling and I was in the way, and she didn't Death Shake. She clamped its mouth shut and dragged it down to the ground. She's the best little dog. Stopped a threat without making a new one.
Happy Day
HEY ALL!
So, good news! I called my old boss up and she gave me my better job back! Take that Best Buy! Better pay, sweeter 4 legged clients, and a job I actually love… Vet tech = :heart:
(I liked Best Buy too, but did not appreciate new management).
So once I finish up those commissions which I DID land, thank you guys VERY much for supporting my art… I will probably turn them off, maybe just sell designs every now and then.
I do still need a car with air bags haha!
As far as the arting goes... working on gifts and commissions, tonight should see 1 to 2 finished peices going up. I am working from 8 am to 6 pm tomorrow (YAY!
